July 21st: The Millionaire Year (Day 51)

I'm not keeping track of days anymore. But it is an easy calculation to make. I started on June 1st, so today would be Day 51. Big number. Kind of weighing me down. I guess I gotta get on track.

Album is coming along. I've been recording about 2-3 songs a week now. My book is coming along too but I am having writers block and it's hard to keep everything in the book and in my mind at the same time. The protagonist is really complicated and I have to remember everything about him that makes him unique so that I don't write something that isn't true to his character. I've been working steady and I've been using the income to pay for my recording sessions. There's gotta be something else I can do to make me some money though. I'm thinking of ways I can advertise my friend who is a real estate agent. We have came up with some pretty blatant and novel ideas.

My website is really pissing me off. Google doesn't index websites for months so I've only been making a couple dollars a week from that. See, if a website isn't indexed then it doesn't have a PageRank, and if it doesn't have a PageRank then it doesn't rank very high for keyword searches. And if it doesn't rank very high for keyword searches then you don't have a lot of visitors. And if you don't have a lot of visitors then you don't have a lot of money. Other than that website, I bought the domain name for a personal website, www.hartigan.ca, but I haven't done some of the final authorizations that need to be done, partly because I want to have my album ready to promote through the website and through Hip Hop forums and Youtube and the internets. I'm going to make a video for a song as soon as possible, and there's some other videos I want to make too. A friend has a High Def camera, but he is working a lot and I don't know when the time will come around. I might have the whole album recorded by the time the video happens. I'm really proud of my album and I have no doubt that people will be talking about it because I touch on issues that are controversial and basically unheard of in most rap music, and also because I got a lotta swag

Anyway, I'm working tomorrow again. I hate working, and can't wait till school gets back in. All those young girls walking around looking for someone to teach them how to do their differential calculus homework. Fuck yeah.

Anyway y'all, see you tomorrow. Been a while since I wrote anything, hasn't it?

Day 36 & Day 37

Never wrote yesterday, don't have much to write today. But I have a new song you can listen to. I'm recording songs over every track on Daft Punk's first album "Homework". This is the first song off the album, Enjoy

Ps. I'm not really a killer

We taking over the internets soon

Day 35: How To Make A Million Dollars In One Year

Whats up,

All the pieces of the puzzle seem to be coming together. My book is coming along well and I'm making some money from my site. I'm really confident that this book is a page-turner and the people will enjoy it. other than that, yeah, I've been working. Got my Youtube account back so I can upload new music now (and some old music too). And my album just needs to be recorded and then I can release that. Hopefully get it recorded in the next two weeks. But, even though I have all these things on the go, I'm always looking out for new ideas. There's a video camera my rapper friend G Duble E has so we can start making music videos and I have some other video ideas and we could make some pretty swift attempts at achieving viral victory. anyway, thatis all I bhave to say. Goodbye

Day 34: How To Make A Million Dollars In One Year

Bad news: somebody hacked my Youtube account. My username, thetreeleprechaun, was based on an internet meme and I'm sure the hacking of my account is in part due to the meme's popularity. Usually what hacking programs do is take one specific username and then search any combination of letters or words until they find the right password. The good news is that there were only two videos on my account and I could easily start a new one. Also, Youtube may be able to retrieve the account for me. As for now, I have several songs I wanted to put up on my account but haven't been able to because of the hacking.

I have been working on my album and I'm going to be recording a great deal of its songs in the next week. Other than that I don't have much to report, other than the fact that I've been working a lot.

Day 32: How To Make A Million Dollars In One Year

Hey,

I spent most of the day at Sampsons hanging out and recording a new song. In the morning I researched some new methods of online advertising and came across a couple really great ideas that would help me boost the current profits I'm making from my website, but to also promote my personal website once I buy a domain name, which I may do today. I'll be uploading some new raps and I'll show them to you tomorrow, but while you're waiting you can check out a new track with me and Sampson on Sampson's account. I'll probably upload it to my own account in a bit.

Bye for now

Day 31: How To Make A Million Dollars In One Year

Today I did a sort of social experiment to get me better at communication. Basically, it just means starting awkward conversations and facing your fear when approaching strangers. It means that I have to open conversations anytime I have the smallest urge to do so. If I see a cute girl in the mall I have to actually go up and start talking to them even if they're in a big group or have a boyfriend with them or whatever. It's about not holding back, saying and doing what you want to when you want to. Opening new people sucks, it does. But once you do open, it's exhilariting. It lets you realize how stupid you've been, to ever think that there was something to fear about opening. It's all a big joke. If you get rejected it's a joke. Laugh it off and on to the next one. I'm not a shy person, but all of us have our downfalls. Facing social fear is extremely important and it will help me when I look for a publisher for my book and will also help me during any auditions I get. No doubt it will help me in relentless self-promotion once I have my own products to promote.

It was Canada Day so I went to a party, played horseshoes, ate a lot of food, drank a lot of beer, and had a good time. Sometimes you just have to have a good time and put some other things on hold.

Today I will be recording raps most likely. See ya soon internets
